Outback Steakhouse Menu

in Dinner

Don't you hate it when your dinner menus seem like you're in rut? If so, then it's time to head out for dinner. How about a fresh salad, a hot and juicy steak along with a fresh, steamy baked potato? Sounds yummy doesn't it? And you can get these off the Outback Steakhouse menu.

For more than 20 years, the Outback Steakhouse menu has been pleasing its customers. Quality food at a reasonable price all wrapped up in a relaxing Australian themed environment makes for a relaxing dinner. Even the names of some of the menu items give reference to the Outback. The food is not traditional foods from Australia; they cater to the local foods which will vary from country to country.

The Outback Steakhouse menu will make you hungry anytime day or night. It doesn't matter if you are hungry for their famous Bloomin' Onion or have a hankerin' for a steak; just thinking about the items on the menu can make your mouth start watering. If you don't have time to actually have dinner at the restaurant you can order to go. No, there is no dollar menu but you can either call in your order or place your order online at their website. In about 20 minutes you can pull into a spot at their curbside take-away area and off you go.

If the opportunity to enjoy something off of their menu hasn't happened yet, then it's time to make time. Begin your experience with a beverage either from the bar or one of their many non-alcoholic beverages available. As a treat before you even get your appetizer, if you order one, your waiter or waitress will bring you a loaf of bread that is heavenly. It is served warm with whipped butter and tastes oh so good. This bread isn't on the menu, it's just part of the experience you receive while dining in one of their restaurants.

Off the "aussie-tizer" menu, you can choose from a number of tasty treats to get your taste buds ready for the main course. You can opt for Alice Springs Chicken Quesadillas or the Outback's famous Bloomin' Onion (if there is more than 4 of you at the table, you may want to order 2 of these) which is served with their signature sauce. You may prefer to order their Coconut Shrimp or maybe their Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread which comes with grilled chicken, a creamy goat cheese, roasted garlic and peppers. If you want to skip the aussie-tizer's you can move on to the soups and salads that are available on the Outback Steakhouse menu.

For dinner, there are 10 sides that you can choose from and the vegetables are always as fresh as possible and may vary upon the season. If you don't want fresh greens or a rice pilaf, you can choose for other sides including the standard side of a hot, steamy baked potato with everything on it. Of course, you can't have dinner without the perfect steak, lamb, crab, lobster or the catch of the day.

To follow up, there are desserts available on the Outback Steakhouse menu. Flavors such as cheesecake, vanilla and chocolate are used to create same extremely sinful treats. Generally you are too full for dessert but they are perfect to share with others at the table.

Just thinking about everything that is on the Outback Steakhouse menu is making me hungry. Whether you place an order to go or stay and enjoy the atmosphere, you know that a meal from the Outback Steakhouse is going to very good.
